Procedure for Placing a New BTCUSD Trade Order via the Tools Menu in MT4

A new trading order to buy or sell a trade can be found on tools menu within MT4 Software. Button for placing a new trade position is illustrated below. (Short Cut key-board Keys 'F9')

Opening a New Bitcoin Trading Order

As a btcusd trader, once you select the new order button option as high-lighted and shown above the following pop-up window/panel will then appear. This pop-up panel includes the settings for placing and opening a new trade order.

Following Setting are specified for setting up and placing a new order:

  1. Symbol - Specify the financial instrument to be transacted.
  2. Volume - Number of Lots to be transacted
  3. StopLoss Order - Set Stop Loss Bitcoin CryptoCurrency Order, This option can be set/placed after opening a trade, or for pending bitcoin crypto orders
  4. TP Order - Set Take-Profit Crypto Order, This option can be set/placed after opening a trade position, or for pending btcusd crypto orders
  5. Type: Market Execution or Pending BTCUSD Order
  6. Sell by Market - Open Sell Trade
  7. Buy by Market - Open Buy Trade

To Buy at current btcusd price hit the Buy by Market button

To Sell at current btcusd crypto price hit the Sell by Market button

Setting Pending BTC/USD Crypto Orders

To Set a pending order at another bitcoin price, Change the 'Type' option from 'Market Execution' to "Pending Bitcoin Order" like as shown below.

A menu list will appear & explain the following options.

  1. Buy Limit Bitcoin Crypto Currency Order
  2. Sell Limit Crypto Order
  3. Buy Stop CryptoCurrency Order
  4. Sell Stop BTCUSD Order

After you pick the type of pending Bitcoin order you want, just hit the ‘Place' button (like in the screenshot above) to finish setting it up.
