MetaTrader 4 Navigator Panel

The MetaTrader 4 Navigator window is mainly used to navigate the most widely used areas of MT4 software. These zones are:

Accounts: Demo & Real Accounts
Indicators
EAs: A listing of automated trading bots within this MT4 software
Custom Indicators:
Scripts: Scripts are used to execute some tasks in the MT4

As a trader once you have selected the Navigator Button the following navigator window will appear in your MT4.

First menu option on the Navigator list is Accounts tab. To view the accounts tab, you can click the expand button (marked & labeled as +), and a list of your saved trading accounts will appear. Every time you sign in with a new account the details and particulars will be saved under this "Accounts Tab".

By double-clicking on any account you can activate the log in & sign into that account. You can switch from one account to the other using this btcusd accounts tab.

The example shown below illustrates two trading accounts recorded under this tab, a demo bitcoin trading account marked as a green cartoon and a Real account labeled & marked as a bitcoin cartoon. From this bitcoin accounts tab, a btc usd trader can switch between any of these two accounts by double clicking on any one of them.

Scripts: Scripts are used to execute some tasks in the MT4

The above are illustrated below on screen-shot, to view and get more options under each of these, traders click the expand + button "+ button", this will show more options, to hide, just click " - button". For exemplification the "Expert Advisors" option below has been expanded.

These tutorials will be covered ==22==& discussed in more details & particulars later, but for now the following explanation about each will do.

Indicators: ==22==Technical Indicators are technical analysis tools used in trading and placed on Crypto Currency chart, these tools are used to generate buy & sell bitcoin signals.

EAs: Automated bots that are used to place trades by generating buy & sell cryptocurrency signal mechanically using programs that are programmed using the MQ4 programming language.

Custom Indicators: A custom indicator includes an indicator which you have modified or downloaded from the inter net & then installed it in your ==22==MetaTrader--4 software, this trading indicator will be shown and listed here as a "custom technical indicator"

Scripts: This is a function used to perform and carry out a certain task, e.g. if you open five trades & want to close-out all of them at once you can attach a "script close" in your trading chart therefore closing all open positions at once (However, you as a bitcoin trader need to set-up some parameters on MetaTrader platform to allow scripts execution trading, that is a lesson for later.)

Navigator will be one of your frequently used panel when trading, to access it using a short-cut, press "Ctrl+N" button on your keyboard to display or hide it.
