Opening an Offline Chart on the MT4 Platform
Within the MT4 environment, there is an option to load an offline chart for analysis that will not update in real-time. While it is an infrequent requirement for a crypto trader, this capability is integrated into the Meta Trader 4 software.
Displayed below, the File Navigation drop-down menu the second option is that of opening an offline bitcoin chart.

When you click to open an offline chart, a popup window pops up. From there, you pick which offline bitcoin chart you want to view.

From the above pop up menu a btc/usd trader then can open any offline chart that's listed above, the number of bitcoin price bars that have been saved within a specific offline saved chart is recorded as the number of bars as well as the date from which the chart is saved upto the last time it was updated.
This option isn't required so much in trading but it is good to explain it for tutorial purposes.
