Place RVI Indicator in Chart in MetaTrader 4

This Tutorial will explain how to place the RVI Indicator on a Chart in the MetaTrader 4 Platform. For technical analysis: Technical analysis of xauusd RVI.

How to Place XAUUSD Indicators in MT4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator panel as illustrated and shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click) & then select "Navigator" panel (click), or From the Standard Tool-Bar click the "Navigator" button key or press shortcut keyboard keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window, choose 'Technical Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the indicator menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or double-click the "indicators" menu, after that, this button key will then now appear as (-) & will now show as a listing as shown below.

From the Above panel you then can place any indicator that you want on the chart.

Placing RVI Indicator on Chart

Step 1: Select the RVI button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Doubleclick the RVI Button Key, and click okay to attach the Technical Indicator in the trading chart as illustrated & shown below:

Edit RVI Technical Indicator Settings

To Change the Settings, rightclick on the Technical Indicator, select properties settings & then edit the properties using the popup menu that appears and then click ok button after you change settings.

The following pop up window appears and the RVI Indicator settings can be edited from this popup panel.
