Place Bollinger Band Indicator on Chart in MT4

How to Place Indicators on MT4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as illustrated & shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click) and then select "Navigator" panel (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click "Navigator" button key or press shortcut keyboard keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window, choose 'Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the indicator menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or double click "indicators" menu, after that, this button key will then now appear as (-) and will now show as a listing as illustrated below.

From the Above window you then can place any indicator that you want on the chart.

Placing Bollinger Bands

Step 1: Select the Bollinger Bands button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as illustrated below:

Step 2: Double click the Bollinger Bands Button Key, & click okay to attach the technical indicator on chart as displayed & shown below:

Edit Indicator Settings

To Change the Settings, right-click in the Bollinger Band, choose properties settings and then edit the properties using the pop up menu that appears & then click ok button after you change settings.

The following pop up window appears and Bollinger Band settings can be edited from this popup window.
