How to Place Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Software Navigator Panel

Open the Navigator window like displayed & shown below - Go to the "View" menu (then click) & then select and choose the "Navigator" panel (press), or From the Standard Tool Bar click "Navigator" button or press shortcut key board keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator panel, choose 'Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the technical indicator list menu by clicking the expound + button/tool mark ( + ) or double-click "indicators" menu, after that, this button will then now be shown as (-) & will now show as a listing like as shown below.

Edit Alligator Settings

To Change the Settings, right click the Indicator, select properties settings and then edit properties using the pop up menu that appears and then click ok button after you change settings.
