Place Alligator Technical Indicator on Gold Chart

How to Place XAUUSD Trading Indicators on MT4 XAUUSD Charts

Step 1: Open The Gold Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as illustrated and shown below - Go to 'View' menu (then click) & then select the 'Navigator' window (click), or From the Standard Toolbar click the 'Navigator' button key or press short cut keyboard keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator window, select 'Indicators', (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the XAUUSD Trading Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the indicator menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or double click the "indicators" menu, after this the button will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown below.

From the Above window you can then place any indicator that you want on the gold chart.

Placing Alligator XAUUSD Trading Indicator

Step 1: Select the Alligator button on the MetaTrader 4 list of as shown on the xauusd example shown below:

Step 2: Double click the Alligator Button Key, and click okay to attach the technical indicator on the trading chart as illustrated and shown below:

To Adjust the Settings, right click on the Technical Indicator, select properties settings & then edit the properties using the pop up menu that appears and then click ok button after you change settings.

The following pop up window appears and Alligator settings can be edited from this pop up.
