Place Stochastic Trading Indicator in Chart in the MT4 Platform
This Lesson will explain how to add the Stochastics Indicator in a Chart in the MetaTrader 4 Software. For analysis: Technical analysis of Stochastic Oscillator.
How to Place Indicators on MT4 Charts
Step 1: Open The Platform Software Navigator Panel
Open the Navigator panel like is illustrated & shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click) and then select & choose the "Navigator" panel (press), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button or press shortcut key board keys "Ctrl+N"
On the Navigator panel, choose 'Indicators', (DoubleClick)
Step 2: Expand Indicators Menu in the Navigator
Expand this menu by clicking the magnify button mark (+) or doubleclick the "indicators" menu, after which this button then will now be shown as (-) and will now be shown as a list just as illustrated and shown below.
From the Above panel you then can place any technical indicator that you as a trader want on the chart.
Adding Stochastic Trading Indicator on Chart
Step 1: Select and Choose the Stochastic Oscillator Trading button on the MT4 list of technical indicators like as shown below:
Step 2: Double click the Stochastic Indicator Button, & press ok button to attach the indicator on chart just as illustrated & shown below:
Edit Indicator Settings
To Change the Settings, right-click the Technical Indicator, choose properties settings and then edit properties using the pop up menu that appears and then click ok button after you change settings.
The following pop up window panel appears and the technical indicator settings can be edited using the pop up window.
