Place Stochastic Indicator in Chart in MetaTrader 4

This Lesson will explain how to place the Stochastics Indicator on a Chart in the MT4 Platform. For analysis: Technical analysis of Stochastic Oscillator.

How to Place Technical Indicators on MT4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator panel as illustrated and shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click) & then choose "Navigator" panel (click), or From the Standard Tool-Bar click the "Navigator" button or press shortcut keyboard keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window, choose 'Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking ##1expand button marker (+) or ##3doubleclick ++3the "indicators" menu, after this the button will then now appear as (-) ++1& will now be shown as a list as illustrated below.

From the Above panel you then can place any technical indicator that you want on the chart.

Placing Stochastic Indicator on Chart

Step 1: Select the Stochastic Oscillator button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click the Stochastic Technical Indicator Button, and click okay to attach the indicator on chart as illustrated and shown below:

Edit Technical Indicator Settings

To Change the Settings, right-click the Technical Indicator, choose properties settings & then edit the properties using the popup menu that appears & then click ok button after you change settings.

The following pop up window appears & the indicator settings can be edited from the pop-up window.
