Place Volumes Indicator on Chart on MT4
This Lesson will explain how to place the Volumes Technical Indicator on a Chart in the MT4 Trading Platform.
How to Place Indicators on MT4 Charts
Step 1: Open The Platform Software Navigator Window
Open Navigator window as shown & displayed below - Go to 'View' menu (then click) and then select 'Navigator' window (press), or From the Standard Tool-Bar click 'Navigator' button key or press short-cut key-board keys 'Ctrl+N'
On the Navigator panel, choose "Technical Indicators", choose Indicators (Double-Click)
Step 2: Expand Technical Indicators Menu on the Navigator
Expand the menu by pressing expand button marker (+) or double-click 'indicators' menu, after this the button will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a listing as shown below.
From the Above panel you can then place any technical indicator that you as a trader want onto the +trading chart.
Setting Volumes on Chart
Step 1: Select the Volumes button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as shown below:
Step 2: Double click the Volumes Button Key, and press ok button to add the technical indicator on the chart as shown and portrayed below:
Edit Indicator Setting
To Change Settings, rightclick in Volumes Technical Indicator, choose properties settings & then edit property settings using the pop-up menu which pops up & then click ok button after you change settings.
The following pop up window appears & the technical indicator settings can be edited from the pop-up panel.
