How to Place Indicators on MT4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform/Software Navigator Window

Open Navigator window just as shown & shown below - Navigate & go to 'View' menu (then click on it) & then choose 'Navigator' panel (click), or From the Standard Tool-Bar click 'Navigator' button or press short-cut key-board keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator panel, choose 'Technical Indicators', (Double-Click)

Step 2: Open the indicators menu in the Navigator

To expand the menu, press the open button tool marked with a " + " or double-click the 'indicators' menu. Subsequently, this specific button will change to (-) and will reveal a list as displayed below.

From the aforementioned window, you are then empowered to impose any indicator you desire as a trader onto the trading chart surface.

Placing Heikin Ashi on Chart

Step 1: Select the 'Heiken Ashi' button from the functions available within the MetaTrader 4 array of technical analysis indicators, precisely as illustrated below:
