How to Place Indicators on MT4 XAUUSD Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as displayed & shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click) & then choose "Navigator" window (click), or From the Standard Tool-Bar click the "Navigator" button or press shortcut keyboard keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window, select 'Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button (+) or double click the "indicators" menu, after this the button will then now appear as (-) and will now be shown as a list as shown below.

From the Above window you then can place any indicator that you want on the chart.

Placing MA Envelopes on Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the MA Envelopes button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click the MA Envelopes Button Key, and click okay to place the technical indicator on chart as displayed and illustrated below:

Edit Indicator Settings

To Change the Settings, right-click in the Envelopes Technical Indicator, select properties settings and then edit the properties using the pop up menu that appears and then click ok button after you change settings.

The following popup panel appears & Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up.
