How to Place Indicators in MT4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform/Software Navigator Window

Open Navigator panel like is shown & shown - Navigate & go to 'View' menu (then click on it) and then choose 'Navigator' window panel (click), or From the Standard Tool-Bar click the 'Navigator' button or press short-cut key-board keys 'Ctrl+N'

In the Navigator window, pick Indicators with a double click.

Step 2: Expand Indicators Menu in the Navigator

Open the menu by selecting the magnify tool button (+) or by double-clicking the 'indicators' menu. Once expanded, the button will change to (-) and reveal the item listing, as illustrated below.

Edit Indicator Settings

To Change Options, click the right mouse button in the Standard Deviation Trading Indicator, choose properties settings & then change the settings using the menu that pops up, then click the OK button after changing settings.
