Place Standard Deviation Indicator in Chart in MetaTrader 4 Software Platform
This Lesson will describe how to place Standard Deviation Indicator on Trade Chart in the MT4 Software. For trading analysis: Technical analysis of xauusd All Trading Indicators .
How to Place Indicators in MT4 Charts
Step 1: Open The Platform/Software Navigator Window
Open Navigator panel like is shown & shown below - Navigate & go to 'View' menu (then click on it) and then choose 'Navigator' window panel (click), or From the Standard Tool-Bar click the 'Navigator' button or press short-cut key-board keys 'Ctrl+N'
On Navigator window, select 'Indicators', (DoubleClick)
Step 2: Expand Indicators Menu in the Navigator
Expand the menu by pressing the magnify(+)tool button mark (+) or double click the 'indicators' menu, afterwards the button then will now be shown as (-) & will now be revealed as a listing just as shown below.
From the Above window you as a gold trader can then place any indicator that you as a trader want onto the trading chart.
Setting Standard Deviation Indicator on a Chart
Step 1: Select/Choose the Standard Deviation button on the MetaTrader 4 list of indicators like as illustrated and shown below:
Step 2: Double click the Standard Deviation Button, & click ok to place the indicator on chart just as shown & portrayed below:
Edit Indicator Settings
To Change Settings, right-click in Standard Deviation Trading Indicator, select properties settings & then edit property settings using the popup menu that appears and then click okay button after you change settings.
The following popup window appears and Standard Deviation Indicator parameters can be changed & edited using the popup panel.
