Place Standard Deviation Indicator in Chart in MetaTrader 4

How to Place Indicators in MT4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator panel as shown and portrayed below - Go to 'View' menu (then click) and then select 'Navigator' window (click), or From the Standard ToolBar click the 'Navigator' button or press short cut keyboard keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator window, select 'Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or double-click the 'indicators' menu, after this the button will then now appear as (-) and will now be shown as a listing as shown below.

From the Above window you can then place any indicator you want on the chart.

Setting Standard Deviation Indicator on a Chart

Step 1: Select the Standard Deviation button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as pictured below:

Step 2: Double click the Standard Deviation Button, & click okay to place the indicator on chart as shown and portrayed below:

Edit Indicator Settings

To Change Settings, right-click in Standard Deviation Trading Indicator, select properties settings and then edit properties using the popup menu that appears & then click ok button after you change settings.

The following pop up window appears & Standard Deviation Indicator parameters can be edited from the pop up panel.
