Place Parabolic SAR Indicator in Chart in MetaTrader 4

How to Place Indicators in MT4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as illustrated & shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click) and then select "Navigator" panel (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click "Navigator" button key or press shortcut keyboard keys "Ctrl+N"

On the Navigator window, choose 'Indicators', (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking expand button (+) or double click "indicators" menu, after this the button will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a listing as illustrated below.

From the Above window you then can place any indicator that you want on the chart.

Placing Parabolic SAR Indicator on a Chart

Step 1: Select the Parabolic SAR button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Doubleclick the Parabolic SAR Button, and click okay to attach the indicator in the chart as illustrated and shown below:

To Adjust Settings, rightclick in Parabolic SAR Indicator, select properties settings & then edit the properties using pop up menu that appears and then click ok button after you change settings.

The following pop up window appears and the Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up.
