Place MACD Indicator on Chart on MT4

How to Place Gold Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window as illustrated and shown below - Go to 'View' menu (then click) & then choose 'Navigator' panel (click), or From the Standard ToolBar click 'Navigator' button or press short cut keyboard keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator panel, choose 'Indicators', (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or double click 'indicators' menu, after this the button will then now appear as (-) and will now be shown as a listing as shown below.

From the Above panel you can then place any technical indicator you want on the chart.

Setting MACD on Chart

Step 1: Select the MACD button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Doubleclick MACD Button, & click okay to put the indicator on chart as shown and portrayed below:

Edit Indicator Setting

To Change the Settings, right-click on the MACD Indicator, choose properties settings and then edit properties using pop up menu which appears & then click ok button after you change settings.

The following pop up window appears and MACD Indicator settings can be edited from the pop up panel.
