Add RSI indicator to chart on MT4 platform
This Tutorial Guide will describe how to place Relative Strength Index, RSI Technical Indicator on a Chart in the MetaTrader 4 Platform. For analysis: Technical analysis of xauusd RSI.
How to Place Indicators in MetaTrader 4 Charts
Step 1: Open The Platform/Software Navigator Window
Open Navigator window just as shown and shown - Navigate & go to 'View' menu (then click on it) and then choose 'Navigator' panel window (press), or From the Standard Tool-Bar click 'Navigator' button or press short-cut key-board keys 'Ctrl+N'
On Navigator panel, select 'Technical Indicators', (Double Press)
Step 2: Expand Indicators Menu in the Navigator
Enlarge this menu by depressing the expansion tool marked with a plus sign (+) or by double-clicking the 'indicators' menu: consequently, the specified button will then show as a minus sign (-) and reveal a listing just as it is presented below.
In the panel mentioned above, if you trade gold, you can add any trading tool you want to the trading chart you are using.
Placing and Adding RSI on a Chart
Step 1: choose the RSI button on MetaTrader four listing of indicators just as displayed beneath:
Step 2: Click twice on the RSI Button, then click the okay button to add the RSI on the chart as displayed below:

To adjust the settings, simply right-click within the RSI area, select properties settings, and then modify the settings through the popup menu that appears. Don't forget to click the OK button to save your changes.
Modifying Indicator Parameters: A popup window allows for adjustments to various indicator settings directly within the panel.
