How to Place Indicators in MetaTrader 4 Charts
Step 1: Open The Platform/Software Navigator Window
Open Navigator window just as shown and displayed below - Go to 'View' menu (then click) and then choose 'Navigator' panel window (click), or From the Standard Tool-Bar click 'Navigator' button or press short-cut key-board keys 'Ctrl+N'
On Navigator panel, select 'Technical Indicators', (Double Press)
Step 2: Expand Indicators Menu in the Navigator
Expand this menu by pressing the enlarge tool mark (+) or double-click 'indicators' menu, after which this particular given button then will now be shown as (-) & will now be revealed as a list like is displayed below.
From the Above panel you as a gold trader can then place any trading indicator that you as a trader want onto the trading chart.
Placing and Adding RSI on a Chart
Step 1: Choose the RSI button on MetaTrader 4 list of indicators just as displayed below:
Step 2: Doubleclick the RSI Button, & click ok button to add the RSI on chart as shown and displayed below:
Edit Relative Strength Index Indicator Setting
To Adjust Settings, right-click in RSI, select properties settings and then edit property settings of the indicator using the popup menu that appears and then click ok butonke
The following popup window appears and the indicator parameters can be changed and edited using the pop up panel.
