Place Moving Average Indicator in Chart in MetaTrader 4

How to Place Indicators in MT4 Gold Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window as illustrated & shown below - Go to 'View' menu (then click) & then select 'Navigator' window (click), or From the Standard Tool-Bar click 'Navigator' button or press short cut keyboard keys 'Ctrl+N'

On Navigator panel, select 'Indicators', (Double-Click)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or double click 'indicators' menu, after this the button will then now appear as (-) & will now be shown as a list as displayed below.

From the Above panel you can then place any indicator you want on the chart.

Placing Moving Average on Chart

Step 1: Select the Moving Average button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as pictured below:

Step 2: Double click the Moving Average Button Key, and click okay to place the indicator on chart as shown and illustrated below:

Edit Indicator Settings

To Adjust Setting, right click in Indicator, select properties settings and then edit properties of the indicator using the pop up menu which appears and then click ok button after you change settings.

The following pop up window appears & Indicator parameters can be edited from the pop up panel.
