IBEX 35 Index

The IBEX35 tracks the top 35 companies on Spain's Bolsa de Madrid. Basically, it keeps tabs on the biggest and most traded stocks in Madrid. Twice a year, they review and update the list of stocks that make up the index to keep it current.

Strategy for Trading IBEX35 Index

The IBEX35 Index monitors the market capitalization of Spain's top 35 companies. Generally, this index shows a long-term upward trend: however, it experiences more volatility in its movements. Compared to indices like EURO STOXX and DAX30, which exhibit lower volatility, the IBEX35 displays wider and more erratic trend swings.

Over a long time, this index will usually go up, so you should lean towards buying as the stock index goes up and keeps moving higher.

A good strategy would be for traders to keep buying the dips - although as a fx trader wanting to trade this index, be prepared for generally much wider swings(more volatile swings) when it comes to trading this index.
