The Commodity Channel Index measures the variation of a commodity FX price from its statistical mean ( statistical average ).

This indicator is an oscillator which oscillates between high levels & low levels

When the CCI is high it shows that FX price is unusually high when it is compared to its average.

When the CCI is low it shows that FX price is unusually low when it is compared to its average.

CCI Forex Trading Indicator Overbought/ Oversold Levels

CCI indicator is an oscillator forex indicator that oscillates between ±100.

CCI indicator values above +100 indicate overbought levels and an impending forex market correction.

CCI indicator values below -100 indicate oversold levels and an impending forex market correction

Buy Forex Signal

If the CCI indicator is oversold - CCI indicator levels below -100, then there is a pending forex market correction.

CCI indicator oversold levels will remain in place until CCI indicator starts to move above -100.

When the forex price starts moving above -100 then this forex trading signal is analyzed as a forex buy trading signal.

The CCI indicator forex buy trading signal should be combined with a forex trendline break signal to confirm the buy signal.

If the CCI indicator is overbought - CCI indicator levels above +100, then there is a pending forex market correction.

The CCI indicator overbought levels will remain in place until CCI indicator starts to move below +100.

This CCI indicator sell signal should be combined with a forex trendline break signal to confirm the sell signal.
