Gann Swing Oscillator indicator is an oscillator indicator and it is used to help define market swings.
Swing up - A swing up is defined by 2 higher highs in price
Swing low - A swing low is defined by 2 lower lows in price.
Gann Swing Oscillator indicator oscillator - oscillates between values of +1 & -1:
- An up-swing in forex is indicated by a +1 value of the Gann Swing Oscillator indicator while
- A down-swing in forex is indicated by a -1 value of the Gann Swing Oscillator.

Buy Signal - A buy signal is generated within a bullish upwards trend that is defined by the Gann Trend Indicator, the buy signal is generated when both these Gann indicators are at the top value.
Sell Signal - A sell trading is generated within a bearish trend that is defined by the Gann Trend Indicator, the sell signal is generated when both of these Gann indicators are at the bottom value.

The Gann Swing Oscillator indicator is meant to be used in combination with the Gann HiLo Activator indicator & Gann Trend indicator to form a trading system methodology referred to commonly as the: 'New Gann Swing Chartist Plan'. Within this methodology the Gann Swing Oscillator indicator is used to help determine the market direction for trading only within the current market trend that is shown by Gann Trend indicator.
In the Example Below the 'New Gann Swing Chartist Plan' system has been shown. The trend (downwards trend) is determined by the Gann Trend Oscillator and the trading entry point is determined by the Gann Swing Oscillator.
