The Commodity Channel Index measures the variation of a commodity FX price from its statistical mean(statistical average).

This indicator is an oscillator which oscillates between high levels & low levels

When the CCI is high it shows that FX price is unusually high when compared to its average.

When the CCI is low it shows that FX price is unusually low compared to its average.

CCI technical indicator Overbought/ Oversold Levels

CCI technical indicator is an oscillator forex technical indicator that oscillates between ±100.

CCI technical indicator values above +100 indicate overbought levels and an impending forex market correction.

CCI technical indicator values below -100 indicate oversold levels and an impending forex market correction

Buy Forex Signal

If the CCI technical indicator is oversold - CCI technical indicator levels below -100, then there is a pending forex market correction.

CCI technical indicator oversold levels will remain in place until CCI technical indicator starts to move above -100.

When the forex price starts moving above -100 then this is interpreted as a forex trading buy signal.

The CCI technical indicator forex trading buy trading signal should be combined with a forex trend-line break signal to confirm the buy signal.

If the CCI technical indicator is overbought - CCI technical indicator levels above +100, then there is a pending forex market correction.
