Templates on the Charts Menu in the MetaTrader 4 Software Platform
The templates tab is provided in charts menu on the MetaTrader 4 platform. The MetaTrader 4 template is used by a lot of traders to save their systems, this way they can load the trade system on a new chart directly from this template option without having to put the chart indicators one by one every time that they open a new trading chart. MetaTrader 4 Change Template - traders can also use these MetaTrader 4 template option to save more than one forex templates & they keep changing from one template to another when trading on MT4 charts
The Templates Option on the MetaTrader 4 Software is Illustrated Below:
Save a System as a Template on the MT4 Software Platform
For example as a trader you may create a trading system shown below.
This trading system takes 5 minutes to set up, It would take you 5 minutes to set it up on every trading chart you open. But the MT4 template will save you this time by saving this system as a MetaTrader 4 template and to place this MetaTrader 4 template onto another chart you only need to load the template on the MetaTrader 4 platform software.
To save the above forex system you will open the templates button within charts menu on MT4 and use the save template option.
After choosing the save template button key the following popup will appear & you as a fx trader can use save the MetaTrader 4 template and give it a name as shown below.
First step is to give MetaTrader 4 template a name, we name our MT4 template as tradeforextrading and click the save button.
Load a Template in MetaTrader 4 - MetaTrader 4 Change Template on Forex MT4 Software Platform
To load a template on the MetaTrader 4 software, go the charts menu on the MetaTrader 4 software choose the templates button & choose the sub-menu item for load template. This will load the named template on to the new chart as shown below.
The named template on the MetaTrader 4 platform software is displayed & shown on the list above: this is a short cut for the available templates which have been saved on the MetaTrader 4 software. Another alternative is to use the "Load Templates", which is the second option marked & labeled as "Load Templates" on the template menu sub items on the MT4.
Remove Template in MT4 - MetaTrader 4 Change Template Remove Template
The third option in the MetaTrader 4 template sub menus is the remove template: this sub-menu item will remove any MetaTrader 4 template that's loaded on the trading chart.
