How to Trade on MetaTrader 4 Platform

To sign in & stock index trade on the MetaTrader 4 platform follow the step by step guide described below:

Open the MT4 software that is installed on your PC
Choose File Menu at the top left corner of MetaTrader 4 software
Select Log in to Trade Account from the File drop-down menu
Type your MetaTrader 4 stock index account login & password
Select the Server - Real for MT4 real stock index account and Demo for MT4 practice stock index trading account
Click Ok Button to Login to MT4 Stock Index Trading Account

To trade in MT4 follow the step by step guide described below:

Choose View Menu at the top left corner of MT4 software
Choose Market Watch window panel from the view dropdown menu
Once you open the Market Watch panel
Select the stock index instrument you want to trade
Open the stock index chart of that stock index instrument by double-clicking on the stock index trading instrument
On the stock index chart, right click on the stock index chart
Select New Order
Choose Buy or Sell to open a buy stock index trade or a sell stock index trade transaction.

On the stock index order panel you will also need to specify the lot size for the trade that you want to open.
