The first time as a beginner trader you start doing some research about forex trading - you will be so confused because you do not even know where to start or what to start with - even getting a demo forex trading practice account and the process of setting up this forex practice practice account will be confusing.
So as a beginner trader to setup a forex trading demo account you will need to follow the steps below:
Step 1: Find a good forex trading broker - forex demo trading accounts are provided by forex brokers
Step 2: Go to this forex trading broker website and search for the link "Open Forex Practice Account" or "Open Forex Practice Account"
Step 3: Once you click this open forex demo account link, you will then arrive at a page where the broker will ask you to fill your forex demo account registration details so as to register for the demo forex account, These details are your name, phone contact & email & country.
Step 4: Once you fill your forex demo account registration details on this forex demo account opening form click the register button, once you finish this demo forex account registration - your forex broker will then give you a 'username' for the forex practice account that you have signed up and a 'password' for the forex practice account. Along with this a broker will also provide a download link where you can download their forex software. Click the forex platform link and download the forex platform.
How Do I Analyze Forex Trading and Learn Forex?
For this step you'll then install the forex platform you have just downloaded.
To install the forex trading platform
- Navigate to download folder of your browser(to go to download folder, maximize the firefox web-browser panel & click key board short-cut key CTRL+J, this will bring a pop up window panel of the browser download folder)
- Double-click the forex trading installation package of the forex trading software you've just downloaded.
- Follow the forex trading platform installation instruction by clicking 'accept' and then click 'next', 'next'….. Until you get to the 'finish' button, then click finish button and your forex trading platform setup is complete.
To Open the Forex Trading trade platform
- Go to desktop & look for the short cut Icon for the Forex Trading platform, it should have the name or logo of your forex broker. Or you can go to "Start menu" bottom left corner of your PC and form the programs menu look for the name of the forex trading platform.
- Once you Open the forex trading platform on your PC, you will then need to login to your forex trading platform:
- To Log in
- Go to 'File' at the tops left corner of the forex trading platform
- A drop-down menu will appear - from the options listed look for 'sign in' click it
- A Username and Password Login window appears, Input your demo account password and username you got when you registered with your forex trading broker.
- If you forget your forex account username and password, open your email account that you registered with and you will have gotten an email from your forex broker where you can refer the username and password forex account login details.
- After you have logged in to your forex demo trading account, now you are ready to learn how to forex trade & how to place trades using this forex trading platform.
