Trading XAUUSD Set a Sell Limit Gold Order on MT4
The example displayed below explains how to set a sell limit order in MetaTrader 4 software.
A sell limit pending order is an order to sell a gold at a better price after the gold market price has retraced.
Setting Sell Limit XAUUSD Orders on MT4 Platform
To set up these sell limit pending orders on the MetaTrader 4 platform use the following procedure explained:
- Right click on xauusd chart
- Choose 'Trading' Option on the Menu
- Then Choose 'New' Order Option on the Pop-up widow that pops up
- Then on the trade setup pop up panel that appears (illustrated below), under the label 'Type' choose the option of "Pending XAUUSD Order" instead of 'market execution' order
- Under the pending xauusd order options select the pending xauusd order type: for This trade choose "Sell Limit Gold Order" so as to set a pending sell limit order and after that specify the gold price at which you want the sell entry limit xauusd order executed.
