How Do You Set XAUUSD Orders in MT5 XAUUSD Charts?
To set a new xauusd order on MetaTrader 5 platform use the procedure explained below:
Place New Gold Order on Tools Menu in MetaTrader 5 Software
A new xauusd order to buy or sell a trade can be found on the tools menu that is found in the MT5 Platform as shown below. The New order button for placing a new xauusd trade is shown below. (MetaTrader 5 Short Cut Keyboard Keys 'F9')

Placing a New XAUUSD Order
Once you select the new xauusd order button key as illustrated above the following gold order popup window panel will appear.
This pop up includes the settings for placing a new xauusd trade order.
How Do You Set XAUUSD Orders in MT5 XAUUSD Charts?
The Following Order Settings are specified for setting a new gold trade order:
- Quote - Specify the instrument to be traded.
- Volume - The Number of Lots to be transacted
- Stop Loss Gold Order - Set Stop Loss XAUUSD Order, This option can be set after opening the trade, or for pending xauusd orders
- Take Profit Gold Order - Set Take Profit XAUUSD Order, This option can be set after opening the trade, or for pending xauusd orders
- Type: Market Execution or Pending XAUUSD Order
- Sell by Market - Open a Sell XAUUSD Trade
- Buy by Market - Open a Buy XAUUSD Trade
To Buy at current gold price & open new xauusd order select Buy by Market xauusd order button
To Sell at current gold price & open new xauusd order select Sell by Market xauusd order button
