Bitcoin Trade Buy and Sell Cryptocurrency Orders in MT5 Bitcoin Charts
To open a buy or a sell bitcoin trade in the MetaTrader 5 platform - open the Market Watch Window, Select the Bitcoin Symbol you want to open a Bitcoin Trade with, open the btcusd chart of the crypto symbol by double clicking on the bitcoin price quote, then from the btcusd chart open a bitcoin buy or sell bitcoin trade using the MetaTrader 5 order window shown below:
Place New Crypto Order in Tools Menu in MetaTrader 5 Platform
A new buy or sell order to buy or sell a btcusd trading instrument can be found on the tools menu within the MT5 Bitcoin Platform. The "New Cryptocurrency Order" button for placing a new trade transaction on the MetaTrader 5 platform is shown below. (MT5 Short Cut Keyboard Keys 'F9')

Buy or Sell Order on MetaTrader 5
As a bitcoin trader, once you select the new bitcoin order button as illustrated and shown above the following trade order popup window will appear. This pop up includes the settings for placing a new trade transaction.
Select Buy to open a Buy Bitcoin Trade
Choose Sell to open a Sell Bitcoin Trade
How Do I Read Buy and Sell Crypto Orders in MT5 Crypto Charts
Following Settings are specified for setting up and placing a new bitcoin trade order:
- Symbol - Specify the instrument to be traded - bitcoin crypto.
- Volume - The Number of Lots to be transacted
- Stop Loss Cryptocurrency Order - Set Stop Loss Bitcoin Order, This option can be set after opening the trade, or for pending bitcoin orders
- Take Profit Cryptocurrency Order - Set Take Profit Bitcoin Order, This option can be set after opening the trade, or for pending bitcoin orders
- Type: Market Execution or Pending Bitcoin Order
- Sell by Market - Open a Sell Bitcoin Trade
- Buy by Market - Open a Buy Bitcoin Trade
To Buy at current bitcoin price select the Buy by Market button key
To Sell at current bitcoin price select the Sell by Market button key
