How to Place MT5 Indicators on MetaTrader 5 Gold Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as illustrated and shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click) & then select "Navigator" window (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button key or press short cut keyboard keys "Ctrl+N"

On the MT5 Navigator window, choose "Technical Indicators", (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the MetaTrader 5 Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or double click the "indicators" menu, after this the MT5 button will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown below.

From the Above panel you can then add any MT5 indicator that you want on MT5 gold trading chart.

Placing Moving Average on XAUUSD Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the Moving Average button on the MetaTrader 5 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click the Moving Average Button Key, and click okay to attach the technical indicator on chart as illustrated & shown below:

Edit Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust the Settings, right-click in the Technical Indicator, select properties settings and then edit the properties of the technical indicator using the pop up menu that appears and then click ok button after you change settings.

The following popup panel pops up and MT5 Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up window panel.
