How to Place MT5 Indicators on MT5 Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open Navigator window as illustrated and shown below - Go to 'View' menu (then click), then select ' MT5 Navigator ' panel (click), or From the Standard ToolBar click 'MT5 Navigator' button or press short cut keyboard keys 'Ctrl+N'

On the MetaTrader 5 Navigator window, choose "Indicators", (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand MetaTrader 5 Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand MT5 technical indicator window menu by clicking expand button marker (+) or double click 'indicators' menu, after this the MT5 button will appear as (-) & will now illustrate a list as shown below.

From the Above panel you can then add any MT5 indicator you want in MT5 chart.

Setting ATR on Gold Chart

Step 1: Select the Average True Range button on the MT5 list of technical indicators as pictured below:

Step 2: Doubleclick the ATR Button Key, & click okay to place the ATR on the chart as illustrated & displayed below:

Edit Technical Indicator Settings

To Change Settings, right-click in ATR, select properties settings and then edit properties of the indicator using the popup menu that appears and then click ok button key after you change settings.

The following pop up window appears and Average True Range Technical Indicator parameters can be edited from the pop up panel.
