How Do I Log onto MetaTrader 4?
- Select the "File" Menu
- Select Accounts and Click "Log In"
- Type your Gold Log in Account Number and Password.
- Select the correct server - Demo Account select Demo Server, Real XAUUSD Account Choose Real Server.
- Choose the checkbox "Save Account Data Information".
- Press Sign in Button.

Before placing any trade on the MetaTrader 4 software, you will be required to log in to your xauusd account and get authenticated before gaining access. Authentication is checking to see if the details you provide for User-name and Password are the correct details.
To start trading on MT4, just click on "File", then choose and click "Sign in" button from the file drop down menu as shown below.

As a trader once you click on this log in button key, then a pop up window panel will pop-up prompting you to in put your XAUUSD Account Username and Password as shown below:

Once you input your XAUUSD Account Username and Password you will then have to select the trading server: because this is a demo gold trading account, for this instance you will then select "Demo", if it was a real xauusd trading account/live gold trading account then you would have to select "Real" Server on this option by clicking the drop-down arrow on the right side of the above text box on MT4 platform.
Then tick the box "Save Account Information"
Then Click 'Sign in'
Once you click login your MetaTrader 4 xauusd account details will be authenticated & you'll then have access to your MetaTrader 4 xauusd account and when logged in to your account you can start to trade & place new orders in the xauusd market in MetaTrader 4 platform. If you do not have login details you can get these details by registering a practice gold trading account with a broker.
