How Do I Log onto MetaTrader 4?
- Choose the "File" Menu
- Select Accounts & Click the "Log In"
- Type your XAUUSD Log in Account Number & Password.
- Select the correct server - Demo Account select Demo Server, Live Account Select Real Server.
- Select the checkbox "Save Account Data Information".
- Press Sign in Button.

Prior to opening any trade on the MT4 platform, you will be required to log in to your account & get authenticated before gaining access. Authentication is confirming to see if the details you provide for User-name & Password are the correct details.
To begin trading in MT4, just click on the "File", then choose and click "Sign in" button from the file drop down menu as shown below.

As a trader once you click on this log in button key, then a pop up window panel will pop-up prompting you to in put your XAUUSD Account Username and Password as illustrated below:

Once you input your Account Username and Password you will then have to select the trading server: because this is a demo trade account, for this instance you will then choose "Demo", if it was a real trading account/live trading account then you would have to select "Real" Server on this option by clicking the drop-down arrow on the right side of the above text box on MT4 platform.
Then check the box "Save Account Info"
Then Press 'Login'
Once you click login your MetaTrader 4 account details will be authenticated & you will then have access to your MetaTrader 4 account & when logged in to your account you can start to trade & place new orders in the market on MT4 platform. If you don't have sign-in credentials you can get these details by signing up a practice trading account with a broker.
