How to Analyze XAUUSD and Setup MT4 Platform
To setup and trade trading on MT4 platform, you will need to first register for a demo xauusd demo account - as a trader you will then use the demo account login details on your MT4 software. Once you download and install the MT4 software on your PC Desktop computer - you will access the platform through your demo account.
If you have downloaded this xauusd software on your PC - then you will need to locate the download MT4 location on your web browser - go to the folder where you downloaded the MT4 platform (if you do not know where this folder is, just do this Press keyboard short cut keys Ctrl and J - CTRL+J or (CTRL+Y) Keys on your keyboard, and your downloads folder will appear), double click the downloaded MT4 platform installation file - open the MT4 installation pop-pup wizard and click next, next until you finish installing the MT4 software.
After you have installed & setup the MT4 software you will then open the MetaTrader 4 platform from the start menu of your computer. After you have opened the MT4 platform you will see the MT4 platform interface you will be xauusd with. At the 'top left corner' of the MetaTrader 4 software click on the 'File' Menu, & a dropdown menu appears, scroll to where there is the 'Login' option & click on it. You will then be prompted to enter the 'username' and 'password' that you got for your demo account when you registered for a practice practice account. After entering the demo xauusd account login details you will then be logged in to your MT4 platform and you are set to begin trading on MT4 platform, opening of xauusd charts from the MT4 platform and opening new orders in MetaTrader 4 platform using your demo trading demo account.
After this you'll see your demo account balance portrayed just below the MT4 charts and you can now start using the MT4 platform that you have installed on your computer to place demo xauusd trades on the market.
