Gold MetaTrader 4 Chart Settings
4 Hour Gold Chart - Daily XAUUSD Chart
XAUUSD Chart - open the chart of the trading instrument symbol selected - in "Market Watch" window panel in the MetaTrader 4 platform.
To Open MT4 Market Watch Window, Click "View" Menu next to "File" Menu at the top left corner of MT4 xauusd Platform, then from the dropdown menu choose "Market Watch" button key so as to open "Market Watch" on the MetaTrader 4 xauusd trading Platform.
Once you open the Market Watch window the list of available trading instruments will be displayed on the MT4 platform and as trader you can open a xauusd chart from this market watch window panel.
MT4 Market Watch Window for Adding Gold Trading Quotes in MT4 Software
The market watch window on MT4 is used to display an array of xauusd trading instruments quotes for xauusd.
To access this Market Watch display of trading instruments on the MT4 Platform a trader should go to the view menu as illustrated and shown below and select the Market Watch Window by Clicking on it. (The Ctrl+M is the short cut for accessing this window as illustrated and shown below, by pressing this shortcut, you can enable market watch window without going to the "view" menu)

Once a trader selects the xauusd market watch window panel, the following window will appear showing a list of XAUUSD instruments available for trading.

If you want to add more charts gold quotes on this Market Watch window panel, Right-Click within the Market Watch window panel & a Pop Window appears - from this pop up window select the option - "Show All" - this will then display all the instruments that are available for trading in MetaTrader 4 platform.
Once these gold quotes are opened on the Market Watch window, you can then choose any of the xauusd trading quote & open a xauusd chart by double clicking on that gold trading quote.

As a trader you may also want to xauusd trade a xauusd trading instrument that is not listed on this MT4 xauusd trading instruments list as shown below. For example on the above list only 5 financial instruments are shown.
To obtain the other instrument symbols which are not listed, you can right click inside this market watch window as illustrated and shown below and the following window will appear.

To show a list of other trading instrument symbols, choose the "Show All" button, this will then display all the available xauusd trading instruments.
