How to Open Chart in MetaTrader 4 Software

Once you have opened a demo account the next step is to open a chart so as to begin stocks.

For this example let's begin with a blank screen on the MT4 platform inter-face.

To open a new chart from the example illustrated & described below, click the "File" tab at the tops left corner of the MT4 platform as shown below, then select the option "New Chart".

After clicking "New Chart" a drop-down menu will appear with a list of instruments that as a trader you can select which chart to open. For example the first stocks instrument in the chooseion is the Stocks, clicking Stocks will open the chart for this stocks.

The following chart will then be opened on the MT4 platform as pictured below.

As a trader you can maximize the chart as shown below and you can then open trades from the charts or you can place analysis indicators to analyze the price movement.

This is how to open a new chart on the platform. You can open as many charts as possible & these will be ordered in form of chart tabs and you can navigate using these chart tabs as displayed & shown below.
