Forex Cent Lot Cost - Example of One Cent Lot Price
1 Cent Lot is equal to 100 Units of base currency
How much you trade with a 1 Cent Lot in forex, which is like 100 units of the main money, relies on the forex power a trader uses for trades.
For Example - Leverage 100:1
With a 100:1 leverage ratio, a trader can obtain $100 in borrowed capital for every $1 held in their Cent Account, using this factor to amplify trade sizes.
Consequently, to execute a trade for 1 Cent Lot using 100:1 leverage, one calculates 100 Units of the base currency divided by the 100:1 leverage, which equates to $1 dollar.
Therefore, a trader will need $1 to open a forex Cent lot - therefore 1 Cent lot will cost $1 dollars to trade using leverage 100:1.
Example 2 - Leverage 50:1
With 50:1 leverage, borrow 50 dollars per one in your cent account. Trade bigger with it.
To trade 1 Cent Lot using 50:1 leverage, divide 100 Units of the base currency by 50:1 leverage, which equals $2.
So, a trader need $2 to start a forex Cent lot, meaning 1 Cent lot needs $2 to trade with leverage of 50:1.
Example 3 - Leverage 20:1
With leverage set at 20:1, a trader has the capacity to borrow twenty dollars for every one dollar present in their Cent Account, which can then be employed for trading purposes.
A one-pip fluctuation when trading with Standard contracts/lots corresponds precisely to a value of $10 USD (calculated as 100,000 currency units times 0.0001).
So, someone trading will need $5 to begin a forex Cent lot - meaning each Cent lot will need $5 to exchange using leverage 20:1.
Example 4 - Leverage 10:1
With 10:1 leverage, a trader borrows ten dollars for each one in their cent account. They use this to trade bigger.
To trade 1 Cent Lot using 10:1 leverage, divide 100 Units of the base currency by 10:1 leverage, equivalent to $10.
So, a trader needs $10 to start a forex Cent lot - so 1 Cent lot will cost $10 to trade when using borrowing power of 10:1.
