Gann Swing Oscillator Analysis and Gann Swing Oscillator Signals

This indicator is an oscillator & is used to help define market swings.

Swing up - A market swing up is defined by two higher highs while a market

Swing low - A market swing low is defined by 2 lower lows.

The oscillator oscillates between values of +1 & -1:

  • An up-swing is indicated by +1 reading of the oscillator technical indicator while
  • A down-swing is indicated by a -1 value and reading of the oscillator technical indicator.

FX Technical Analysis and How to Generate Trading Signals

Bullish Signal - A buy signal gets derived/generated within a buy trend that's defined by Gann Trend Oscillator Indicator, the buy signal gets derived and generated when both these are at the top value.

Bearish Signal - A sell is generated/derived within a sell trend that's defined by Gann Trend Oscillator Indicator, the sell signal gets derived and generated when both of them are at the bottom value.

Gann Trend Oscillator Technical - Determine longterm trend

Gann Swing Oscillator - Determine shortterm trend (Swing/Entry Points).

The Swing Oscillator is meant to be used together in combination with the Gann HiLo Activator and Gann Trend to form a trading system method oftenly known as the: "New Gann Swing Chartist Trading Plan". Within this technique/method the Swing Oscillator is used to help figure out market direction for trading only within the current market trend displayed and shown by Trend indicator.

In the Examples Below the "New Gann Swing Chartist Trading Plan" strategy has been shown. The trend (downtrend) is determined by Trend Oscillator and the entry point decided by the Swing Oscillator.
