How to Place MetaTrader 5 Indicators on MetaTrader 5 Gold Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as illustrated and shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click) & then select "Navigator" window (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button key or press short cut keyboard keys "Ctrl+N"

On the MT5 Navigator window, choose "Technical Indicators", (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand the MetaTrader 5 Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or double click the "indicators" menu, after this the MT5 button will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown below.

From the Above panel you can then add any MT5 indicator that you want on MT5 gold trading chart.

Placing Zigzag on XAUUSD Chart

Step 1: Select the Zigzag button on the MetaTrader 5 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click the Zigzag Button, and click okay to place it on chart as illustrated & shown below:

Edit Zigzag Gold Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust the Settings, right-click on the Zigzag, select properties settings and then edit the properties using the pop up menu that appears and then click ok button key after you change settings.

The following pop up window appears and the Zigzag settings can be edited from this pop up.
