How to Place MetaTrader 5 Technical Indicators in MetaTrader 5 XAUUSD Charts

Step 1: Open The Platform Navigator Window

Open the Navigator window as illustrated and shown below - Go to "View" menu (then click) & then select "Navigator" window (click), or From the Standard Tool Bar click the "Navigator" button key or press short cut keyboard keys "Ctrl+N"

On the MT5 Navigator window, choose "Technical Indicators", (Double Click)

Step 2: Expand MetaTrader 5 Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or double click the "indicators" menu, after this the MT5 button will appear as (-) and will now display a list as shown below.

From the Above panel you can then add any MT5 indicator that you want on MT5 gold trading chart.

Placing Standard Deviation Gold Indicator on a XAUUSD Trading Chart

Step 1: Select the Standard Deviation button on the MetaTrader 5 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click the Standard Deviation Button Key, and click okay to attach the technical indicator on chart as illustrated & shown below:

Edit Gold Technical Indicator Settings

To Adjust the Settings, right-click in the Standard Deviation Technical Indicator, select properties settings and then edit the properties using the pop up menu that appears and then click ok button after you change settings.

The following pop up window appears and Standard Deviation Technical Indicator settings can be edited from this pop up.
