Grid, Volumes, Auto Scroll & MT5 Gold Chart Shift Options on MT5
MT5 Grid
The MT5 grid button on the charts menu option of the MT5 Platform is used to draw grid lines as shown below. A trader may prefer to trade with grids on the chart or not & will use this button to show or hide the Grid.
The MT5 Grid button is displayed below (Short-cut for this menu is Ctrl+G)
MT5 Volumes Indicator
Volumes in XAUUSD represent tick volumes or the number of times the tick for price changes during a particular time period. The more the tick shifts the greater the volumes. These volumes in XAUUSD are used to estimate the number of xauusd traders who participate in the market.
Volumes are drawn as green bars below each xauusd candlestick, & the height of these green bars represent tick volume for a particular candle. (Short Cut button for Volumes : Ctrl+L)
MT5 Auto Scroll
Auto scroll when it's activated will automatically scroll to most current xauusd candlestick bar for every chart that is opened. Therefore, most recent information is displayed & as a trader you do not have to scroll to these recent xauusd candle bars every time you open a new gold chart.
MT5 Gold Charts Shift
This Meta Trader 5 Gold Charts Shift button is used to shift the chart more towards the center, instead of the last candle being right at the right side of the MT5 platform, the MT5 chart shift button will shift the recent most xauusd candle towards the center. Traders prefer to trade with recent most xauusd candle shifted toward the middle - this makes it easier to analyze the chart price moves when they're more towards the center.
For example, the MT5 Gold Charts Shift button is shown below as an arrow pointing down, by pressing this MT5 charts shift button key within the chart menus(highlighted below by a rectangle), the last xauusd candlestick will shift from the right and move up to this point as shown in the MT5 Gold Charts Shift examples shown below.
MT5 charts menu options of showing grids, volumes and activating the auto scroll option for automatic scrolling to the most recent candlestick bar & also the MT5 charts shift button for moving the last xauusd candle towards the center.
