To login & gold trade in MetaTrader 5 platform follow the step by step tutorial described below:
How to Login on MT5
- Open MetaTrader 5 platform that is installed on your PC
- Select File Menu at the top left corner of MT5 software
- Select Login to Trade Account from the File dropdown menu
- Type your MetaTrader 5 gold account sign in & password
- Select the Server - Real for MT5 real gold trading account and Demo for MT5 demo gold trading account
- Click Ok Button to Log in to MetaTrader 5 Gold Trading Account
How to Trade in MT5 Software
To trade in MT5 follow the step by step guide explained below:
- Choose View Menu at the top left corner of MT5 platform
- Select Market Watch panel from the view dropdown menu
- Once you open the Market Watch window panel
- Select the gold instrument that you want to trade
- Open the gold chart of that gold instrument by double clicking on the gold trading instrument
- On the gold chart, right click on the gold trading chart
- Choose New Order
- Choose Buy or Sell to open a buy gold trade or a sell gold trade.
On the gold order window panel you will also need to specify the lot size for the trade you want to open.
