To login & trade on MT4 platform follow the step by step tutorial described below:
How to Login on MetaTrader 4
- Open the MT4 software that is installed on your PC
- Select File Menu at the tops left corner of MT4 platform
- Select Log in to Trade Account from the File dropdown menu
- Type your MT4 account login & password
- Select the Server - Real for MT4 real account and Demo for MT4 practice account
- Click Ok Button to Log In to Meta Trader 4 Trading Account
How to Trade in MetaTrader 4 Software
To trade on MetaTrader 4 follow the step by step tutorial described below:
- Choose View Menu at the tops left corner of MT4 platform
- Select Market Watch panel from the view dropdown menu
- Once you open the Market Watch panel
- Select the instrument that you as a trader want to trade
- Open the chart of that gold instrument by double-click on the instrument
- On the chart, right-click on the chart
- Select New Order
- Select Buy or Sell to open a buy trade or a sell trade.
On the order panel you also will need to specify the lot size for the trade you want to open.
