How to Trade on MT5 Platform
To login & gold trade in MT5 platform follow the step by step tutorial described below:
How to Login on MetaTrader 5
- Open the MT5 platform that is installed on your PC
- Select File Menu at the tops left corner of MT5 platform
- Select Log in to Trade Account from the File drop-down menu
- Type your MT5 gold account login & password
- Select the Server - Real for MT5 real gold account and Demo for MT5 practice gold trading account
- Click Ok Button to Login to MT5 Gold Trading Account
How to Trade on MT5 Platform
To trade in MT5 follow the step by step tutorial described below:
- Choose View Menu at the tops left corner of MetaTrader 5 software
- Select Market Watch panel from the view dropdown menu
- Once you open the Market Watch panel
- Select the gold instrument that you want to trade
- Open the gold chart of that gold instrument by double clicking on the gold trading instrument
- On the gold chart, right click on the gold chart
- Choose New Order
- Choose Buy or Sell to open a buy gold trade or a sell gold trade transaction.
On the gold order panel you will also need to specify the lot size for the trade you want to open.
