To login & trade in MT5 platform follow the step by step guide described below:
How to Login on MetaTrader 5
- Open the MT5 platform that is installed on your PC
- Select File Menu at the tops left corner of MT5 platform
- Choose Log in to Trade Account from the File drop-down menu
- Type your MT5 account login & password
- Select the Server - Real for MT5 real account and Demo for MT5 practice account
- Click Ok Button to Login to MT5 Account
How to Trade in MT5 Platform Software
To trade in MT5 follow the step by step guide described below:
- Choose View Menu at the tops left corner of MetaTrader 5 platform
- Choose Market Watch panel from the view dropdown menu
- Once you open the Market Watch panel
- Choose the instrument that you want to trade
- Open the chart of that gold instrument by double clicking on the instrument
- On the chart, right-click the chart
- Choose New Order
- Choose Buy or Sell to open a buy trade or a sell trade.
On the order panel you also will need to specify the lot size for the trade you want to open.
