How Do You Set Gold Orders in MetaTrader 4 XAUUSD Charts?
To set a new xauusd order on MT4 platform use the procedure described below:
Place New Gold Order on Tools Menu on MT4 Platform
A new xauusd order to buy or sell a trade can be found on the tools menu that is found in the MetaTrader 4 XAUUSD Trading Software as illustrated below. New order button key for placing a new trade transaction is shown below. (MT4 Short-Cut Key-board Keys "F9")

Placing a New Gold Order
Once you select the new xauusd order button as illustrated above the following gold order popup window will appear.
This pop-up includes settings for placing a new xauusd trade order.
How Do You Set XAUUSD Orders on MT4 XAUUSD Charts?
The Following Order Setting are specified for setting a new gold trading order:
- Quote - Specify the instrument to be traded.
- Volume - The Number of Lots to be transacted
- Stop Loss Gold Order - Set Stop Loss XAUUSD Order, This option can be set after opening trade, or for pending xauusd orders
- Take Profit Gold Order - Set Take Profit XAUUSD Order, This option can be set after opening trade, or for pending xauusd orders
- Type: Market Execution or Pending XAUUSD Order
- Sell by Market - Open a Sell XAUUSD Trade
- Buy by Market - Open a Buy XAUUSD Trade
To Buy at current gold price & open new xauusd order choose the Buy by Market xauusd order button
To Sell at current gold price & open new xauusd order choose the Sell by Market xauusd order button
