A stop-loss order is an order used in xauusd to close an open trade if the trade moves against the trader's position by a specified number of pips.
Once stop loss order is set at a specified level, this stoploss order will automatically close out-outclose the open trade once the price gets to this stop loss order price level. Stop-Loss order is used in equity management so as to stop further losses if a trade position is going against the direction of the trader's open trade position.
Set Stop Loss Setting When Opening New Order on Tools Menu on MetaTrader 5 iPhone App
To open new order - buy or sell gold trade use the tools menu that's found in the MT5 Gold Software as shown below.

Once you choose new order button as depicted above the following trade order pop up window will appear and you as a trader can use this order pop up window to set Stop Loss Area for your new trade.
This pop up includes settings for placing new order as well as parameters for setting StopLoss Level.

The Following StopLoss Settings are specified for placing a new StopLoss trading order:
Stop Loss - Set StopLoss, This option can be set after opening a trade, or for pending orders
Open the Buy or Sell Trade by Clicking on the Following Buttons:
- Sell by Market - Open Sell Trade
- Buy by Market - Open Buy Trade
To Buy at current price and open new order choose Buy by Market order button
To Sell at current price and open new order choose Sell by Market order button
After opening the new trade transactions use the StopLoss Window Above to Set The StopLoss for the New Order
You also can get this panel in order to modify an open buy or sell xauusd trade - To find & get this order panel for a buy trade, right click on the opened buy or sell gold trade, then after that click on 'Modify Order' after you click on modify order button the above order settings button will pop up and you can set Stop Loss using the step by step guide described above.
