How to Set MetaTrader 5 Technical Indicators on MT5 Charts
Step 1: Open The Software Navigator Panel
Open the Navigator window like is illustrated and displayed below: Navigate to the 'View' menu (click on it), then select ' MetaTrader 5 Navigator ' window (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click 'MT5 Navigator' button or press key-board short-cut keys 'Ctrl+N'
On the MT5 Navigator window, choose "Indicators", (DoublePress)
Step 2: Expand the MT5 Trading Indicators Menu on the Navigator
Expand MT5 indicator window menu by clicking the magnify(+) tool feature mark ' + ' or doubleclick the 'indicators' menu, after this the MetaTrader 5 button will then appear and be shown as (-) and will now display a list just as illustrated below.
From Above window you then can add any MT5 trading indicator that you as a trader want on the MT5 bitcoin crypto chart.
Placing ATR on Bitcoin Chart
Step 1: Select the Average True Range button on the MT5 list of indicators as depicted below:
Step 2: Doubleclick the ATR Button Key, & press ok button to add the ATR on the bitcoin chart just as is illustrated & shown below:
Edit BTCUSD Indicator Setting
To Change the Settings, rightclick on ATR, choose property settings & then edit the properties of indicator using the popup menu that appears and click ok button key once you change the settings.
The following window panel popup pops up and Average True Range Indicator properties can be edited using this panel popup.
