Stop Entry Stocks Order - Stop orders are set to buy above or to sell below the current market stocks price. Stop entry orders are automatically executed so as to open new stock trades once the stock market price reaches the specified stop entry stocks price area.
Stop Loss Stock Order - Stop loss orders are stocks orders set by traders to close a trade automatically after stocks price has moved against their open trade position by a number of specified pips. This is done to prevent more losses for that particular trade. A stop loss is automatically executed by the MT4 stock platform.
Another difference is that stop entry orders open new trades while stop-loss order close open trade transactions.
