To set a Sell Limit Stock Order on the MT4 Platform - Use the "New Order" window on the MT4 platform "Tools" menu.

A new order to buy or sell a trade can be found on the tools menu found within the MT4 Platform. Button key for placing a new trade is displayed below. (Key board ShortCut Keys "F9")

Placing a New Stocks Order

As a stocks trader, once you select the new order button as illustrated and illustrated above the following popup window will appear. This pop up window includes the settings for placing a new trade.

Select the instrument that you want to set a Sell Limit Stocks Order for - then open it's stocks chart and from the stock chart set the Sell Limit Stocks Order using the Sell Limit Stocks Order setting procedure explained on this example illustrated & described below:

To set these sell limit pending orders in MetaTrader 4 platform use the following procedure:

1. Right click on stock trading chart
2. Choose "Trading" Option on the Menu
3. Then Select "New" Order Option on the Pop-up widow that pops up
4. Then on the trade setup popup panel that pops up (illustrated below), under label "Type" choose the option of "Pending Stocks Order" instead of "market execution" trade order
5. Under the pending stocks order options select the pending stocks order type: For This trade select "Sell Limit Stocks Order" so as to place a pending sell limit order and after which specify the stocks price at which you want the sell entry limit stocks order executed.
