Trading Stocks Open a Sell Stop Stocks Order Trade in MetaTrader 4

To set a Sell Stop Stock Order on the MT4 Platform - Use the 'New Order' window on the MT4 platform 'Tools' menu.

A new stocks order to buy or sell a trade can be found on the tools menu found within the MT4 Platform. Button key for placing a new trade transaction is shown below. (Keyboard ShortCut Keys 'F9')

Placing a New Stocks Trading Order

As a stocks trader, once you select the new order button as illustrated and shown above the following popup window will appear. This pop up window includes the settings for placing a new trade.

Select the instrument that you want to set a Sell Stop Stocks Order for - then open it's stocks chart and from the stock chart set the Sell Stop Stocks Order using the Sell Stop Stocks Order setting procedure described on this example illustrated and described below:

1. Open a Stocks Stock Trading Chart
2. Right Click on Chart to open the Trade 'Order' Window Panel
3. On the Trade Order Panel, Select Pending Stocks Order as shown below
4. Choose Pending order Type as Sell Stop Stocks Order as Show below
5. After selecting Sell Stop Stock Order - Click 'Place' Order & specify the sell stop stocks price level where the order will be opened
