Place Zigzag Indicator in Forex Chart on MT4

How to Place Indicators in MT4 Charts

Step 1: Open Navigator Window on Platform

Open Navigator panel as shown & illustrated below: Go to "View" menu (click on it), then choose "Navigator" window (click), or From Standard Tool Bar click "Navigator" button or press keyboard shortcut keys "Ctrl+N"

On Navigator window, select 'Indicators', (DoubleClick)

Step 2: Expand the Indicators Menu on the Navigator

Expand the menu by clicking the expand button marker (+) or doubleclick "indicators" menu, after this the button key will then now appear as (-) and will now be shown as a list as shown below.

From the Above panel you then can place any indicator you want on the chart.

Setting Zig zag on Chart

Step 1: Select the Zigzag button on the MetaTrader 4 list of technical indicators as shown below:

Step 2: Double click Zigzag Button, & click okay to place it on the forex chart as shown & illustrated below:

To Change Settings, right click in Zigzag, choose properties & then edit settings using pop up menu that pops & click ok button after you've changed settings.

The following popup appears & the Zigzag settings can be edited from this popup.
