How to Set Indicators on MetaTrader 4 Charts
Step 1: Open the Navigator Window on Trading Software Platform
Open the Navigator window such as shown & illustrated below: Go to 'View' menu (click on it), then select 'Navigator' window (press), or From Standard Tool Bar click 'Navigator' button or press key board short cut keys 'Ctrl+N'
On Navigator panel, select and choose 'Indicators', (DoubleClick)
Step 2: Expand the Forex Technical Indicators Menu on the Navigator
Expand this menu by pressing the expand button tool label " + " or doubleclick 'indicators' menu, afterwards this particular button will then now be shown as (-) & will now be revealed as a list such as shown below.
From Above panel you then can place any trading indicator that you want onto the trading chart.
Placing Moving Average of Oscillator Technical on Chart
Step 1: Select & Choose the MA of Oscillator Technical button on the MetaTrader 4 listing of indicators just as illustrated below:
Step 2: Double click Button, & click okay button to insert the indicator to the chart such as shown below:
Edit OSMA Indicator Settings
To Change Settings, rightclick in Indicator, choose properties and then edit settings using pop up menu which pops up & press ok button after you have changed settings.
The following pop up appears & Indicator parameters can be changed and edited using this popup panel.
