Placing Arrows on Charts on MT4
The arrows button on the MetaTrader 4 under the insert menu options is used to plot arrows on the charts within the MetaTrader 4 Platform. The arrow buttons is illustrated below.
Following arrows can be drawn on MetaTrader trading platform under this arrow buttons option:
- Thumbs Up
- Thumbs Down
- Arrow Up
- Arrow Down
- Stop Sign Maker
- Check Sign Maker
- Left Price Label
- Right Price Label
Thumbs Up & Thumbs Down Arrows
Thumbs up and thumbs down button can be used on trading price chart to mark levels where traders can open trades & show levels where traders can close trade. Thumbs up & thumbs down arrows are shown below. As a xauusd trader to adjust width, rightclick on these arrows, select properties & select a different line width.
Arrow Up and Arrow Down Arrows
The arrow up and arrow down arrows are used to show the levels where a trader opens a buy trade or levels where a trader opens a sell xauusd trade, these arrow button keys are shown below.
Stop Sign & Check Sign
The stop sign and check sign can also be used to mark points where a xauusd trader opens and closes a trade, for example the image below shows where a trader opened a buy trading & closed the trade.
Left Price Label & Right Price Label
Price labels are used to show prices on the specific level that these labels are set, the right trading price label will appear to the right side of the price while the left side will appear to the left side of the price as shown on the example displayed & illustrated & shown below.
