Indicators List on Charts Menu on MT4 Platform Software
On the MetaTrader 4 software charts menu in the MetaTrader 4 Platform Software, the first option is the Chart Menu. The indicators list is shown below: however it's grayed out meaning that as a trader for now you can't use this button key, so the question is how to activate? - The button is shown below:
MetaTrader 4 Indicators List
This Chart Indicators listing will be activated once some indicators are added on the trading chart, from the example shown below the Chart Indicators list button has been activated such as displayed below once the moving average & RSI Technical Indicators have been added on the charts as pictured below:
This option in MetaTrader 4 is used to list all the MT4 indicators that have been placed on the trading chart. For example once you click the above button a pop up window will appear listing all the technical indicators placed on the chart - Indicators Collection on MT4 Gold Chart.
As a trader you as a gold trader can choose any of the indicators listed here on this XAUUSD Indicators Collection and either edit the MetaTrader 4 indicator or delete the MT4 indicator. To edit or delete select a single indicator and click the 'Edit' or 'Delete' button key.
To Edit a MT4 Indicator, once you click the edit button key, then the following panel window will appear:
From above Edit Button Keys
- Parameters Button - Edit parameters of an MT4 indicator such as colour, line width, calculation method, and the number of price periods used in calculating the MT4 indicator settings.
- Levels Button Key - Add a level, for examples add overbought level at 80% & oversold level at 20% on RSI, by selecting the 'levels' button key, then selecting the point 80 & click add, & repeat for point 20. (First Choose and Select The RSI to edit its settings)
- Visualization Button - Specify on which chart time-frame the MT4 technical indicator will appear on.
The second button is for 'Delete', if you want to delete one indicator or many of them at once, just choose the one you as a trader want to delete & then press & click this button.
