How to Login to MT5

To trade on the MT5 Bitcoin Platform, you'll first need to input your bitcoin account credentials. The software will prompt you to do so by selecting the "Sign In to Trade Account" option under the File tab in the top left corner of the MT5 platform. Enter your account details for either a demo practice account or a live trading account. This enables you to access all trading features on the MT5 platform.

How to Open a Crypto Instrument in the MT5 Platform

To open a Crypto Instrument go the MT5 Market-Watch Window select the crypto instrument which you want to open & doubleclick the crypto instrument to open the bitcoin chart for this crypto instrument.

You can also click the click to add button at the bottom of MT5 Market-Watch Panel Window to add a crypto instrument which isn't listed on the MarketWatch Widow.

How to Open a Bitcoin Trade on MT5 Platform Software

To open a bitcoin trade in the MT5 platform software right click within the bitcoin chart & choose the New Order Widow to open a buy/sell trade.

One can also open the New Order window on the MT5 platform software by clicking the MT5 short cut key - "F9", bitcoin crypto traders can press 'F9' to open the New Order panel.

From MT5 New Order window a trader can open a buy or a sell bitcoin trade by clicking Buy by Market to open buy bitcoin trade or clicking Sell by Market to open sell bitcoin trade. From this bitcoin new order trade panel one can also specify the bitcoin lot size which they want to buy or sell.

To open a buy bitcoin trade choose the New Order window in MT5 Software by pressing F9, specify the bitcoin lot size that which you want trade, click Buy by Market Button to place a buy bitcoin trade in MT5 Software.

You can adjust the take-profit (TP) level for an open bitcoin trade directly in your trading platform. To do this, right-click on the open trade within MT5's terminal window or on the bitcoin chart, select "Modify Order," and then set the desired take-profit level for your BTCUSD trade.

Stop Loss Level can be set when opening a new bitcoin trade in the MT5 platform software. On the New Order window provided on the MT5 platform software there is a field for Stop Loss - this is where a trader will specify the stop loss level for their open bitcoin trade.

You can add a stop loss to an open Bitcoin trade too. To change and set a stop loss, right-click the Bitcoin trade in the MT5 Terminal or on the chart. Select Modify Order. Pick Stop Loss and enter the level you want for your BTCUSD position.

To place a bitcoin pending order open the New Order Window on the MT5 platform software, then change the btcusd crypto order from Market Execution Order to Pending Order.
